My current situation

It has been awhile since I logged my experiences here. Many things came up. Chronologically, they were:
1. Not being able to do work in the office from mid December to mid January because had to take care of the two kids during school holidays. During this time, their dad was in Malaysia to settle some things. Thus, my phd work (real focus) were made during the wee hours of the night (usually from 11pm – 3 or 4 am since suboh was 3:40 am anyway…). Anyhow, managed to write Chapter 5 (draft) for that period and updated Chapter 6. Alhamdulillah…
2. Gained my 8 month study extension from KPT and UiTM…Alhamdulillah
3. Shifted house in mid January because the tenancy ended. The owner won’t allow us to extend until June 2011…Had help from several friends to shift all the boxes to Mas’ garage as the new tenancy at Ilam apartment was 1st of February. Luckily all big furnitures were either sold on Trade Me or bought by post grad families. Stayed with Mas and Mat at their home for a week. Thank you so much!
4. Travelled to the West Coast and up North of the South Island for a week during the last week of January visiting places among others: Frans Josef Glacier, Greymouth, Punakaiki Rocks, Ngarua Caves and Nelson. Got to experiencedsleeping in a camp (although in a holiday park and not DOC land), taking wudhuk from Puponga Lake NZ, catching a salmon fish at a fish farm and walking underground through a limestone cave that has been around for 450 millions for the first time! What can I say but SubhanAllah and Alhamdulillah for the experience
5. Settling into the Ilam Apartment (which seems more like a hostel though) in the first week of February and now
6. Struggling to organise, restructure and supposedly polish my literature review (chapter 2) to meet this chaper's end of February deadline…

Hope to Allah that I can sustain the mental energy to complete this study in the midst of a waning feeling…
