This week

This has been a busy week for me:
1. Finalising my poster with the svs for next week's conference in Napier
2. Negotiating with the dept, College of Science and Registrar to fund my registration, accomodation and flight tickets (which apparently is over the dept's allocated budget of 1K/yr for phd students) - hope I don't have to pay the difference of 311 dollars
3.Getting it printed at the Library
4. Packing to move into a new house as my contract with the current flat has expired
5. More packing
6. Preparing to cook for at least 15-20 people on house shifting day (usually its my dear other half who will do this but since he will organise the moving of stuff, its fair that I look into the cooking part-though I'm not such a good cook dear me)
7. Trying to write (yeah) the thesis (what else)...

Anyway,looking forward to going to the conference next week which includes a trip to Lake Opuahi on the 4th and final day of the conference...but will miss my kids and hubbie...
