The swine flu pandemic in Malaysia is really worrying me. Up till today 9 deaths have been reported. Any sign of flu like symptoms should not be taken lightly. Even my son's `selsema' is worrying me and last night we went to the MAIS clinic nearby after the UiTM panel clinik was so full with patients...The doctor tells me that he doesn't have fever so its just normal flu but if he has a temperature, I should bring him back to the clinic. She thinks the government should close schools for the time being..until the `jerebu' clears and the pandemic is controlled...
I never expected this challenging time in the process of my data collection back home in Malaysia...I still need to visit a few organisations and schools for my survey and interviews...as a friend commented on my comment about cabaran on my facebook...`barulah lebih bernilai phd nanti...collect data time swine flu'. Hmm....sabar je lah..

Probably we should also avoid going to crowded clinics, to avoid being in contact with the ones with the swine flu. I wish u all the best Win, in the data gathering. I realized that there's application we should ask from UPEN, which I did not.
Hi Mimi, thanks for the kind wish..yup, the UPEN approval is a requirement at the federal level government (JPM) if somebody outside Msia (including Msian students)wishes to do research in Malaysia...however, that may not include requirements set by the local government..as in my case with the Jbtn Pelajaran Selangor..dunno if its because the local govt is under a different ruling party than that of the federal govt thus the different requirements? as for me I ikut je lah apa2 procedure or requirement pun..janji dapat kelulusan so the study boleh diteruskan...InsyaAllah
